The idea
Driven by the desire to experience new levels of extreme sports, the idea of performing snowmobile tandem was born. Never having ridden anything else than my Mountainbike, a great trip to practice in the Italian Dolomites was planned quickly. With only 3 days of practice and some obstacles, the first show was right around the corner.
Jason Cesco
The right partner for this project was very easy to find because there is no one with longer experience in snowmobile freestyle than 38 year old Jason Cesco. Since getting his first sled at the age of 14 years, he has made his dreams come true and tours the world showing his skills on the snowmobile. He is one of the only riders in Europe to ride his 350kg heavy snowmobile at shows, indoor and outdoor.
Night of Freestyle
The place and time for the premier of our snowmobile tandem project could have not been better than a sold out Barclays Arena in Hamburg, Germany for the Night of Freestyle on 27.01.2024. After being on an emotional high winning the MTB highest air contest with 11m, it was time to get changed into my motocross gear and boots. We showed a total of 5 tricks for the packed arena and the crowed loved it - so much that we won the best entertainment contest!
Future plans
Only 4 weeks after the premier in Hamburg we will face the next challenge at the Night of Freestyle in Magdeburg, Germany on 24.02.2024. With no further practice in between the shows, an arena which is actually too small to present snowmobile tandem, no airbag landing and two shows back to back at the same day we are still eager to present an awesome performance in two sold out shows. But there is one future plan that you can already look forward to in January 2025: the snowmobile tandem backflip!
