To represent The Netherlands on PRO FMB world tour contests

2017 was my first year participating in FMB related contests that took place all over Europe. In this year, no less than eight out of many matches I participated in, were FMB related. I am one of the two riders in the Netherlands who is doing it competitive and representing the country. My goal, is to get as high as possible in the FMB World rankings.

To create brand awareness

Brand awareness is an important aspect for every athlete. This and competing in contests as much as you can, are part of a successful formula. The more contest you ride, the more often people hear your name. I also train as much as I can in different kind of countries. By doing this, you will get to meet a lot of people, get to know them and vice versa. My name is slowly but surely becoming more frequently recognized by people. It does really help that I am one of the only Dutch riders who travels around Europe to compete in contests. I want to enlarge this “fame”, by creating an unique style in riding, different than other riders. I would like to be able to differentiate in the crowd: to create a recognizable
statement.

To get my contests completely funded

I want to do everything I can to be able to achieve my goal. The only thing that is slowing me down, is the financial part and the time that I currently have available. Through sponsorship I will be able to go forward. This will help me to achieve my goals more easily.

Riding shows

My ultimate goal is riding freestyle shows. I want to show people what we as riders are capable of, I want to amaze them. Not the pressure of competitions, but the freedom to ride for pure fun and with the idea to be able to entertain people with my passion. I want to travel around the world for these shows and leave a positive impression whilst enlarging the scene.
